Approve applications as non-administrator

Recommended Posts

Hi

I would like a specific usergroup to accept/approve applications in PERSCOM. I have assigned a usergroup to handle applications in Application settings under the Management tab. So far the usergroup can only see the front-end application, but it is not possible to write notes and approve the application. Is this an actual issue, or is it just me?

Regards,

Hi Bo,

So PERSCOM Permissions are mostly all backend admincp based. So the way to approve applications etc needs to be done on the admincp. In my unit I have created a group to manage each function within PERSCOM, so we have a recruitment group that have access to the admincp but can only see the PERSCOM application and can only process applications.

My advice would be to create an administrator group, lock the permissions down using the Inbuilt ipb permissions system to only have access to the perscom applications and then select the functions they need access to. Assign the users the group as a secondary group. They would then need to login to the admincp to approve applications etc.

I believe a front end recruitment panel is in development but for now that would be the way to do it.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! That could work. I'll see if I can create a new group and lock down all permissions except PERSCOM. Would it be okay to contact you in case I need further help?
