New Payment Gateway Information

With the coming release of IPB 4.4, we are planning to integrate Braintree, a paypal owned company, as our new payment gateway service. The service can handle credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Samsung pay and Google pay! While modifying our payment gateways, we had to reset our current payment service, Stripe, and as a result, your payment settings will need to be re-entered if you have an active subscription with us.

The process is handle gracefully and you will receive an invoice when your subscription is nearing expiration as normal, but know, you will have to re-enter your payment settings. We are sorry for the inconvenience but are committed to providing you the best options available.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask away!

Thanks for the info! BTW, I'm trying to re-validate my PayPal account, but I'm getting an error before the payment confirmation:

We're sorry, but we haven't been able to set up pre-approved payments at this time.
Return to the merchant's website and select another payment method.

I've added an alternative payment gateway (credit card), but I cannot confirm the purchase using this new payment method. (no option to NOT use PayPal)

Thanks!

@Devilsigh, since we’ve posted this, IPBs newest release has broken the payment gateway once again. It’s very frustrating for us as well as you guys. We have a ticket open with them and they stated they believe they know what the issue is and hopefully will be applying a fix soon. In the mean time, I will disable the expiration date on your account so that it doesn’t expire. Stay tuned.
