Administrators Jon Erickson Posted December 30, 2018 Administrators Share Posted December 30, 2018 As our development and upgrading of PERSCOM continues, we want to prepare you for our next major release - PERSCOM 1.2.0. PERSCOM will be shipped encoded using IonCube - a PHP tool used to encode the .php source files of our application. This will help us prevent nulling and the illegal use of the software. What does this mean for you? Start working with your hosting provider to make sure the IonCube Loader is installed on your server. Most hosting providers provide this service. If you have access to your PHP configuration, it usually requires making sure the IonCube Loader extension is checked and enabled. Failure to have the extension loaded will cause your website to throw an error. Once the loader is installed and enabled, you are finished and nothing else needs to be done. PERSCOM will work as it has before! Siteground, GoDaddy, BlueHost are the top 3 hosting providers that all provide this service already installed! Make sure to contact your hosting provider as they usually can set this up for you for free. If you have any questions, please reply to this thread and we will help you as much as we can! We will provided a detailed general installation example before PERSCOM 1.2.0 is released for those that need to install the IonCube Loader extension. 3 Quote Owner Deschutes Design Group LLC email | jon@deschutesdesigngroup.com
Ashton
Can you confirm which version of IonCube this will be using? So we are able to activate the correct version of the plugin on the website.
